In The Morning

The tour will leave from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain, heading to Piazza della Republica, its central area of the Diocletian Baths hidden now by the Fountain of Naiadi. We will continue towards Via Piemonte, the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto and Via Nazionale.

After this ample view of an important part of the city, the guided tour will lead to the Trevi Fountain, a baroque jewel, and to the Pantheon, originally a pagan temple, which will be visited. We will then head to Palazzo Madama, seat of the Senate of the Republic, to finally get to the incredible Piazza Navona, built on the ruins of Domitian's Circus. Then you will have the chance to admire Castel Sant'Angelo and to visit St.Peter's Basilica.

Stop for Lunch

After lunch:

The tour continues to Piazza Venezia with the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Then a visit of the square of the Capitol, the result of Michelangelo’s architectonic and magic genius. Simple but stately, the square is the seat of Rome Town Hall, from here you will enjoy the unique sight of the Forum and of the Palatine Hill with a view of the massive structure of the Colosseum.
We will then walk along the ancient pavement, which crosses the evocative ruins of the Roman Forum, The Curia, The Reggia. You will then admire the Temple of Vesta, The Arch of Titus and The Arch of Constantine. The tour continues towards the Circus Maximus, the Aventine Hill and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, ending up with the visit of the Basilica of St. Paul’s outside the Walls.
