Tour Itinerary Awaken your sense of adventure and explore breathtaking scenery of the Chianti Rufina region. Escape the city and come exploring the Tuscan countryside with us on horseback. We are only 25 minutes by train from Florence central station (catch the train to Pontassieve or Rufina), making a full or half day excursion easy. We have a fine selection of well trained horses, and one of the greatest benefits that you will enjoy when you choose one of our horseback rides is the intimate, exclusive experience that is not often found with trekking centres, pack outfits, working ranches or other trail rides where 12-50 riders are common. A smaller group means more personal attention, more privacy and more individual space. You won’t get lost in a crowd with us; group size is limited to 6 enthusiastic riders per ride. . We make it our pleasure to show you as the rider what we love so much about our region! Nobody likes to ride with a solemn faced guide. We prefer the less mechanical approach, utilizing our home-grown knowledge and expertise on the job at hand, to give you a holiday experience you wont forget. English is spoken fluently too. Safety is always an important factor on our rides, but so is the ability to laugh, joke and tell tales about the area. We mix good old fashioned kiwi ingenuity and world famous Italian hospitality to create trails that we love to guide, and riders love to ride. Full day ride with picnic Meet at Rufina 09.30 am (take the 08.57 Borgo San Lorenzo Train from Florence) which will have you in Rufina for 09.30. Full day ride through the vineyards and national park tracks with a tuscan lunch half way before transfer back to station. This ride operates all year round, as lunch is served by the fire in winter or outside in the vineyards over summer. €85
